In later years, it gets increasingly difficult to hear about success stories, especially in the music business, where talent and creativity are not supported enough, in our website's opinion, unless an artist or a band has got behind a record label willing to invest properly on the skills and the musicianship of said artist or band.
Somebody that has worked really hard, in a completely self-sufficient environment (and massive credit to them for this remarkable achievement), to reach the challenging goal of being successful without any major music label paving the streets of success for them, are Louisiana born-and-bred singer and songwriter Greta Valenti and British guitarist and the youngest ever British Blues Hall inductee in history Robin Davey.

Many of our readers, through the years, may very likely remember our website writing often about one of the most original and inspired band of the Soul, R&B and Rock out of the Canadian music scene, called No Sinner, a collective that perhaps didn't have a long lifespan (the band just released two albums, between 2013 and 2016), but that certainly showed a vast abundance of talent and musicianship, especially through their bandleader and No Sinner's co-founder (together with guitarist Eric Campbell), the singer/songwriter and actress Colleen Rennison.
Rennison was the real engine of the Canadian collective. Together with a very strong stage presence, Rennison seemed to have the world at her feet in many ways, back then, thanks also to a natural ability as a songwriter coupled with a singing voice of exceptional strength and power.

Turning points in somebody's life are either challenging and tumultuous or packed with an idea of a fresh start, a reset, almost, armed with the conscience of living behind the past, whatever it might have been and now looking at life with a positive and forward-moving outlook.
Thankfully, the latter seems to apply very much to one of the most interesting and talented rising stars of Blues/Rock music, the American singer/songwriter, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Greg Sover, judging by what one is able to perceive through the lyrics and the sounds of Sover's brand new album, called His - Story.
